On Saturday Daniel and my dad did cement. They got our walkway poured. YEAH now all we have to do is get our flower boxes poured and we are done with the BIG yard projects.
We will have to wait till next year to plant because its too late in the season and things would die if we tried now. But it looks great Daniel did great for his first time and we really appreciate all my dad's help at teaching Daniel so much!! We decided we needed to leave our mark at our house too so we all put our hands in the cement even max did it ;-)

The cement looks great. It is cute that you put your hands and paw in it. Dan i think you should put an add in the paper for your handy man skills and rent yourself out to all the elderly around your neighborhood. You seem to have diverse skills and old people would love the handle bar stache!!!

That is so freakin awesome! max looks a little worried though. I am glad that your project is coming a long so nicely! You could plant tulips if you want in the fall and that way you dont have to plant in the spring! If you want some bulbs i am sure i can convince my grandma to give you some...just an option!
Oh my word! you guys are too cute! I've always wanted to put my name/handprint in wet cement! Way to leave your mark! We need a big picture of the house and yard together! I'm sure it look amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Good Job you guys!!!!!!!

love the handprints! Also, my mom is like a yard guru and said that fall planting (for perrenials, mostly shrubs and trees) is one of the best times because they get rooted in the ground over the winter and come back looking good in the spring. Just an idea. ?
