As many of you already know or have heard Daniel and I were watching our friends Jared and Wendy's sweet dog Gambit. They were in Virginia for the holidays with Wendy's family. Our friends Rocky and Brittney watched Gambit for a week and a half prior to us getting him. We picked him up on friday afternoon. He came to our house and just played with max. He cried every now and then but overall he was an excellent dog. Max and Gambit were INSTANTLY best friends they just played and followed each other around. Dan played fetch with the both of them. It was a race to see which one could get the ball first. They were so funny and were always ready for the ball to get thrown again. We even put a hoodie on Gambit we had bought it for max but it ended up on being to big but fit Gambit perfectly. They had to be twins in there sweatshirts. Gambit was very sweet all night he kept coming up and cuddling with us laying his head on our lap or laying on our feet. We stayed up till about midnight on Friday just watching movies then it was off to bed for the pups. So we put them both in there beds and off to bed we went. Saturday morning it was Daniel's birthday I had gotten up at about 8:30 and went to make Daniel some breakfast in bed. Daniel decided to get the dogs up to come and cuddle with him in bed while I made breakfast. First he got max and then went to get Gambit and he had passed away in his sleep. It was so sad. Daniel rushed him to the vet to see if there was anything they could do. It was really icy on the roads and Daniel slid through 2 red lights on the way there but made it safely. The vet didn't know what happened to Gambit they couldn't tell why he died. Daniel came home and was so upset he felt so responisble for what had happened to poor sweet Gambit. Jared and Wendy were so sweet and so forgiving we really appreciate how wonderfully they handled everything. After everything that happened we decided it was best to go and do something to keep us busy and keep our minds off the morning we had had. It was still Dan's birthday so I made him up some breakfast we got ready and took max to my parents I was a little paranoid after everything that happened I didn't want him to be home alone. We got Daniels parents and headed to salt lake to see the Body Worlds exhibit. It was SO neat we loved it. It was so busy though we stood in lines just to get in for 1 1/2 hours it was rediculous but so worth it once we saw everything inside. After the exhibit we headed to California Pizza Kitchen for some birthday dinner. It was a lot of fun and we were so glad to have the company of Dan's parents. We didn't get any pictures because you weren't allowed to take any pics at the exhibit and then we forgot at dinner. Despite everything that happened I really hope Daniel had a great birthday and I hope he knows how much I love him and am so greatful for him. HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY babe!!The Wedding Day

Unhappy Birthday

Christmas Day
Christmas morning we got up at 7:30 so that we would have enough time to do our christmas together and then get ready and be at my grandma and grandpa baddleys house by 10:30. We had a great morning santa had stopped by and filled all of our stockings with lots of wonderful things.
Then we opened our presents from each other it was very fun. Daniel got a stackable 9 drawer tool chest, a ladder, a 204 piece tool set,
odds and ends tools, lots of movies, church jacket, hoodie with fur inside (he refuses to wear a coat in the winter so hopefully it will be warmer then his little track jackets he wears), jeans, socks,
headphones, and some collard shirts for work.
He loved all of his presents.
Max got, a toy bin, food bin, little stairs (to help him get on the couch and bed) lots of treats, 3 shirts and a puffy vest, lots of tennis balls and other toys. Max's favorite was his tennis balls he would play with them all day and night if we would let him. We have to hide them because we get tired of playing before he does. He also loved his cookies and bones santa brought him yum.
Daniel spoiled me I got so much stuff, I got a pair of boots
, and 2 other pairs of shoes
, a high wasted skirt and shirt,
dress,
2 pairs of work pants, downeast shirts long sleeved and short, lots of cute shirts,
lots of movies, a silverwear organizer, card table and chairs, socks, cd, the game operation, chapsticks, lip gloss, a couple bags and a phone cover. 
After we did our christmas together we got ready and headed up to my grandparents for christmas with them. Daniel and I got 3 more folding chairs and we each got a t-shirt as well.
Then we had a traditional brunch with ham, hashbrowns, chili eggs, scrambled eggs, circle toast, and some muffins and orange juice. It was all so delicious and it was fun to see all of the cousins and aunts and uncles. After grandma and granpas we headed to my parents to do christmas with them. We gave my parents the game blockus. My mom got a silpat for her pans from us and my dad got a camo shirt and gloves for paintballing. We gave chuck a hoodie
and ethan some slippers for his mission.
Kind of lame present for ethan but what do you give someone who is leaving in just a couple weeks. My parents gave me and Daniel luggage and in each piece of luggage there were presents for daniel in one. He got a bunch of tools, skill saw, jigsaw, drill and some other tools. In my piece of luggage i got more clothes WOO I love clothes :-). Max even had a bag he had some frisbee's and a jar full of treats just for him he loved it. My brother chuck gave us a big folding table for parties and ethan gave us 2 more chairs it was awesome we are so greatful for all our wonderful gifts we got and all the thought put into them.
After christmas with my parents we headed to the frandsen's to do christmas with them. This year they gave us food storage which will be so helpful since we had none. They gave us wheat, brown sugar, white sugar and some honey. Hopefully we don't have to use it but if we do it will be nice to have. We gave them a little date package. they don't get the chance to go on dates just the 2 of them too often cause they are wonderful grandparents and babysit a lot. We just wanted them to have the chance to be able to have some THEM time we got them a gift card to the movies and a gift card to iggy's down at the junction. We hope they liked it and use it. 
After we did christmas with Daniels parents my dad's parents had finally arrived at my parents house so we went back to my parents to have christmas with my grammy and papa. They gave us this cute gift basket full of goodies and they gave us money which we are saving to take to vegas with us in March. We had a very busy and wonderful day with all of our family's. We are so greatful once again for all the love they have for us and all the thought they put into our wonderful gifts. Thank you everyone we love you.

12/24 - Christmas Eve
For Christmas eve this year we went to my Grammy and papa's house. My aunt Cindy, Uncle Alan, cousin Holly her hubby Aaron and my cousin whitney all came over as well. Jake had to work so we missed him this year but hopefully we will get to see him soon. Anyways we had tons of yummy foods chips and salsa, egg rolls, little weinies, bacon and beans, potatoe skins, shrimp, vege's and dip and bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Pretty much any appetizer food you could think of, It was all so delicious. After we ate my cousin holly had a game for us and what it was is there was a phrase and you had to figure out what song it was by the phrase. For example the phrase "Approach everyone who is steadfast" would be Oh come all ye faithful. So it took the title of the song and came up with a different word with the same meaning and you had to figure out the title of each song. It was very difficult for me and Daniel but my mom and brothers ROCKED at it. After that game we did white elephants which are always fun! Daniel ended up with a GIANT universal remote and everyone kept teasing us how it went with our giant TV. Of course too the second daniel had the chance he programmed the remote to our TV :-)!! I got these ugly christmas bunnies that will definetly be regifted as a white elephant next year. WE had a ton of fun hanging with the family. After we got home Daniel and I did our exchange of the PJ present. Daniel got some basektball shorts and T-shirt.
I got some darling PJ pants from Victorias secret the tie at the top was made out of lace and fabric they are so cute daniel struggled a little getting a pic of them but i still love him. He also got me a downeast shirt to wear with them very cute! Max got a shirt earlier in the day for his christmas eve present so he didn't get any pj's :-) We definetly had some stylish pj's for christmas morning pics.
