6/20-6/22 Chucks Party @ Bear Lake

So for chuck's Birthday he decided he wanted to have a big party with his friends up at the cabin. She he invited me and Daniel, his friend Todd from high school, his friends john micheal, Barbara, Claudia, Patty, Elizabeth (Elle), and kelly. Chuck headed up thursday night with 4 of the girls Claudia, Patty, Elle and Kelly they are all hispanic and Chuck loves speaking spanish so it worked out great. He was definetly in the minority with all the girls!! His friend Todd got up there Friday evening as well but he doesnt speak spanish he speaks portugese so he understood alot of what they said but he said he missed the important things he said. It was a rough night for Todd cause they all just kept speaking spanish even though he spoke English. Me and Daniel headed up on Friday after Dan's soccer game we didn't get there until midnight!! It was a struggle up the canyon but we made it safe and sound!! on Saturday Chuck and Todd had some problems with the 4 wheeler and caused the wheel to come off the rim so it they were working on that all morning me and Daniel and the 4 girls headed down to the pool we swam for a while and had just sat down to lay out and read my book when we got a call from my dad asking Dan to go and help fix the tire. So we left the girlst stayed and layed out! I sat on the deck and read and let max play it was very nice up there all weekend very sunny!! Then Chucks other friends showed up, Barbara and John. So Us three and todd sat on the deck and chit chatted why dan and chuck went to fix the 4 wheeler!! They were succesful and got the tire fixed after a couple of hours my husband is very handy!! The girls came back from the pool and we made steaks and french fries for dinner it was very tasty! The 4 hispanic girls headed out after dinner to go home ( i didn't get any pics of them sorry) while the rest of us went down to the pool and hot tub to play. On Sunday we missed morning church so we went to afternoon church. Only me Dan, Chuck and Barbara went to church the other two didn't have church clothes so they stayed at the cabin. Chucks friend John slept till like 11 and then when we got home from church at 1:30 he was asleep again and slept until 5 at night. It was really odd if i was on vacation with my friends i'm pretty sure i wouldn't sleep the whole day away. Me and Dan headed home around 5:30 it was an ok trip i didn't get to spend as much time at the pool as i had hoped and i got stuck doing a little more busy work, cleaning cooking etc. Then i had preferred but someone had to i guess. There will always be more Bear lake trips and i can hopefully enjoy some more sun then!!
