On Saturday we went up to Logan to hang out with my friend Abby and her husband Chet.
We headed up at about 5:30 so that we could go to Gosners (the cheese factory) first and pick up some shelf milk. Everyone thinks its weird who doesn't know what it is but as most of you know my husband is lactose intolerant. I don't really care for milk to much myself unless i am eating some oreos' or I use it for cooking. Well I hate to waste milk all the time so we buy this shelf milk in little boxes it milk you can keep on the shelf until opened then it must be refridgerated but its good it tastes like normal milk looks like normal milk you just can keep it on the shelf for food storage purposes and since the we buy the personal little boxes it works out perfect for us and we don't waste milk. The only place we have been able to find it is at Gosners though so we stopped there first and of course we also got some squeaky cheese (aka Cheese Curds) very tasty stuff. Then we headed over to chet and Abby's home. We went to subway and picked up some sandwich's then went to whats called first dam its a park just inside the mouth of logan canyon. If you have ever gone to Bear lake then i'm sure you have seen the park.
We just ate some food Abby brought fruit and some M&M's to go with our dinners. It was tasty. We decided to play UNO after we ate such a classic game. We played it the Abby and Chet way and there way is whoever wins the hand gets to make up a rule such as reverse means you can change hands with anyone or the dealer can deal as many cards as they want stuff like that it made the game very interesting it was very fun though i think we played like 4 or 5 rounds.
After we got done playing and we were starting to get a little chilly we decided to go back to there house where they made some strawberry sorbet (because daniel can't have milk) It was so good!! I have never had any sorbet that tasted that good in my life. We were going to watch a movie next but no one could decide on a movie so we just started talking abby got out this book thats called IF squared. It just has questions in it that were fun to answer like if you had to get someone's autograph tattooed on your body who would it be and where just funny stuff like that we stayed up talking till like midnight or so and then me and Daniel headed home. Safely this time with no dog incidents. It was a very fun evening and we can't wait to go back up and play.
