10/31 - Halloween

On Halloween me and Daniel both had very eventful days!! Daniel dressed up for work and won most creative costume and $40.00 to Ruby River. I entered the costume contest and craft contest at work. I didn't win anything for my costume but I did win 2nd place in the craft contest and $50.00. So that was neat for both of us to win something. Every halloween we have a tradition of eating dinner at my Aunt Tracy and Uncle Dougs house we eat homemade chicken noodle soup with mashed potatoes under the soup. Its seriously the best meal I look forward to it year round because its so yummy. (I forgot my camera so no pictures from Tracy and Dougs). After dinner we had to stop and see our cute nieces and nephews. We didn't get to see them all but we saw Cooper and Conner Frandsen and Alyssa and Maizey DeBoer they all looked so good in there costumes. Cooper was Franklin the turtle (because his face already looks like franklin :-)) but he didn't like wearing his costume so we didn't get his picture. Conner was a storm trooper with his cute "Daniel Hair". Alyssa was a genie and Maizey was miss america. They all looked great. After seeing the family we had a party with Daniel's friends it was at the Hall's resident. It was so fun they had food but we had already eaten so we didn't eat again but i'm sure it was great.

My Sweet Husband

So on Wednesday I had an AWFUL day at work. The computer program that I use 90% of the time was down. This made for a VERY long and stressful day. The program finally came back up at 3:00 and well I leave work at 4:00. So I got the oppurtunity for the last hour of my shift to try and play catch up for everything I had done by hand during the day. It was just a very long and bad day. Anyways so my sweet husband trying to cheer me up stops at "The Flower Patch" to get me flowers and surprise me and hopefully brighten my day a bit. Well guess what happened he locked his keys in his car so I had to go take him a spare key and ruin his surprise. It was very funny that it worked out like that. I am so greatful to Daniel for all his love especially when i'm having a bad day!!

10/25 - Bowling Bonanza

On Saturday we decided it would be fun to go bowling with Daniel's siblings and there kids. His sister Brenda and her 3 kids came but only Gracie and Parker bowled. Also his sister Wendy came and she just brought her 2 girls Alyssa and Maizey. Chase was at a Corn maze with his friends. Wendy didn't bowl and neither did Brenda, Brenda helped the kids bowl and held baby Hunter. So the 4 kids were on one lane with bumpers and me and Daniel were on the other lane without bumpers. We all payed for an hour and a half me and Daniel fit in 3 games and decided we were done the kids got all the way through one and half way through a second when they were done. We played some video games at first with Gracie and Parker while we waited for Wendy and the girls to come. We went to spare time for galactic bowling and we ended up on helping out a fundraiser for soccer by bowling that night and got to dance to awesome music of course. It was a fun night thanks for bowling with us guys!!

Who does the laundry? We both do it but I prefer when I do it because my sweet husband likes to leave it in the dryer for days till its wrinkled or leave it in a laundry basket drives me NUTS!

Who pays the bills? We each have bills we pay. We still have seperate accounts and seperate responsibilities we each take care of. It works great for us!!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do he has to be closer to the door incase someone broke in our house its safer that way!

Who mows the lawn? Daniel does. I did it once with his push mower (meaning NO MOTOR) That was enough for me it was WAY too much work so now he does it!! Thats what he gets for buying an old fashined mower with no motor.

Who cooks dinner? It Varies but mostly me especially while he is in school

Who drives? Daniel I get nervous with other people in the car. I'm a horrible driver.

Who kissed who first? Tough question it was kind of both of us. We were cuddled up in a love sac watching a movie. I told him I didn't want to kiss cause I had a cold and didn't want to get him sick but we couldn't resist each other. BUT I held his hand first!

10/18 - Halloween Party

We decided to have a Halloween party with some of our friends!! We told everyone they HAD to dress up, we had some fun costumes come through the door!!

Everyone came and ate then we did these Halloween poppers we found. We were kind of disappointed with them because we have done poppers before and everyones had something different in them but in the halloween ones they ALL had a whistle and a spider (LAME). They were kind of cheesy but they were still fun for everyone to do. (I think at least) Then we played some games we played "signs" and we played "guesstures". It was so fun with all the different personalities, we laughed a TON. Most people went home after guestures but there were a few who stayed and we watched "I Am Legend" GREAT show!! Daniel and I made little chocolate suckers for everyone for a "THANKS" for coming! They turned out really good they were all different halloween shapes and colors. We hope everyone liked them and had a blast hanging out with us!!

10/16 - Pumpkin Patch

Every year Daniels family goes to the "Pumpkin Patch" and gets pumpkins each of the kids gets to pick which one will be there pumpkin.We then all go back to the Frandsen's and eat pizza. After pizza the kids paint there pumpkins and get to decorate cupcakes. Its very fun tradition they have started and the kids LOVE it!! We got pumpkins as well but we didn't paint them (I know we are lame) but all the kids did a great job painting there pumpkins they turned out FABULOUS. It was a very fun evening.

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy weekend on friday we went to a wedding receptions for Daniel's cousin Jackie. It was up in midway so we left at 5:30 to get there by 7:00. We stayed for about a half hour ate some tasty food, visited with family and of course the bride and groom she looked so beautiful and they look so happy together then we headed home. We had to be home by 9:00 because my little brother got his mission call. He got called to the Korea Busan Mission and will leave on January 14. We are so excited for him and we know he will do great he is so smart and humble he will make a wonderful missionary. Then on Saturday we had a baby shower for my friend Liz Sant from work. It was at my friend Karin's house I got the joy of doing lots of the tasty food. Daniel was so wonderful about helping me It took us all day. We made halloween cupcakes to go on my cute cupcake tower, pumpkin bars, pasta salad, and we just bought rolls we thought that would be easier then trying to make some. Then a couple of coworkers were great and helped out with the other 2 pasta salads and some brownies and punch. It all turned out really good, thanks to all that helped out. Liz invited 40 people but it was an open house so its hard to tell how many will come. About 15 or so showed up so we had TONS of extra food. I wasn't very good at taking pics at the shower but she got tons of cute stuff and we are so excited for her she is due in November. Then as you all know it snowed this weekend. Well Max has never been in the snow it was quite the experience for him. The snow was as tall as him already and it only snowed a few inches. He was funny though he would kick up some snow from walking then he would pounce on the snow that got kicked up, then he would kick up more and pounce on that he kept doing it. He loved eating the snow too he was very funny. We are going to have to dig him out somewhere to go potty once it starts getting deaper otherwise he may just get lost in the snow.
