12/19 - Morris Family Christmas

Every year since my mother was little my great grandparents would have a Christmas party with all of there children, grandchildren and eventually to great grandchildren. It started out on Christmas eve at grandma and granpa morris's house. Grandma morris would always make a roast and everyone would pitch in and help with the side dishes. Well my sweet great grandma sybella morris died April 2007 at the age of 97 but her traditions live on. We had the Morris family party once again this year. We no longer can do it at someone's house we now are so big we have to do it in a church but we still have grandma's roast and tons of side dishes supplied by everyone else. We also do white elephants which are so fun especially with such a large group you never know what to expect. We had a great time this year ate so much we were sick. laughed and visted with all the family and played our usual game of white elephants. Daniel left with a nice BYU computer bag and I was got a candle warmer and a little candle. We are so glad to continue grandmas' tradition and hope to for years to come.
