12/23 - Dinner with Grandma & Grandpa

Every year in the month of december my grandma and grandpa Baddley (my mom's parents) Always have each of there children and just there family over for dinner one night. Its there chance to spend individual time with each of the families because there are so many of us. My grandma always makes roast, its the best roast ever she cooks it in the oven instead of the crockpot and its so tender. We also always have jello salad, mashed potaotes, a couple vegetables and my grandma makes cookies for each family to take home as well. After dinner we all play a game and grandpa picks out a new hallmark ornament for each family each year. We are lucky that he gives one not only to my parents but me and Daniel because we have our own tree now. Its a lot of fun we have a blast and always look forward to it.

SORRY

Hey guys sorry we have been so behind on our blog. Daniel was doing his finals and I was not allowed near the computer ;-). Its been a very busy month as well. I posted several posts so don't forget to check them all. Thanks for all the comments guys.

12/19 - Morris Family Christmas

Every year since my mother was little my great grandparents would have a Christmas party with all of there children, grandchildren and eventually to great grandchildren. It started out on Christmas eve at grandma and granpa morris's house. Grandma morris would always make a roast and everyone would pitch in and help with the side dishes. Well my sweet great grandma sybella morris died April 2007 at the age of 97 but her traditions live on. We had the Morris family party once again this year. We no longer can do it at someone's house we now are so big we have to do it in a church but we still have grandma's roast and tons of side dishes supplied by everyone else. We also do white elephants which are so fun especially with such a large group you never know what to expect. We had a great time this year ate so much we were sick. laughed and visted with all the family and played our usual game of white elephants. Daniel left with a nice BYU computer bag and I was got a candle warmer and a little candle. We are so glad to continue grandmas' tradition and hope to for years to come.

Snowy Max

Here are some pictures of Max in the snow he has been loving it. Daniel took him outside to play fetch and he did have a little bit of trouble finding his neon tennis ball but he loved every minute of it.

12/18 - Zoolights

On Thursday the 18th we went down to zoolights in salt lake. My cousin Holly and her husband Aaron invited me and Daniel to go with them. I didn't even know they did lights at the zoo so i didn't have very high expectations, but i have to say i was very impressed it was a lot of fun. It was freezing and I'm not a huge fan of the cold weather but it was neat to see the animals they were mostly up close so you could see them so well. In the summer they are usually off in the shade somewhere lounging around. We definetly recommend zoolights to EVERYONE. After the zoo we all headed over to TGIFridays for some warming up and good eats. We had a blast and are so glad Holly and Aaron invited us to spend the evening with them.
(You can't see these gorrilas to well in the pictures but it was so neat they were right next to the window pulling faces and making themselves little nests in the hay to sleep. The one up above used a burlap back for a blanket they were by far my favorite thing we saw at the zoo becuase they were so close.)
This guy is a turtle not a snake he looked over at the right momment of the picture though!

The first few pictures are of my brother in law Brady he kept posing and posing and posing he was so funny he just wanted his picture taken he was like a little kid :-) We eat till we can't eat anything more then we clean up and play BINGO. We all draw names for who we give to each year and we have a $10.00 limit and whenever someone gets a bingo then they get there present from whomever drew there name. Its very fun last year was my first year into the family and I was the last one to get a bingo but this year I had MUCH better luck. It was very fun Brenda and Chris drew Daniel and got him some hair stuff. Jenny drew me and she got me some DANG cute and comfy pj pants from Old Navy (old navy has the best pj pants). Daniel drew connor and we got him a magna doodle with shaped magnets he loved it and so did all the other kids they all fought over and played with it all night. I drew jenny and I found her a cute shirt at American Eagle. Everyone got super cute and fun gifts. We had such a great evening with everyone and we are so glad we get to spend time with them.
